School Feeding in Southern Sudan
Decades of civil war have devastated the region and mean the education sector is starting from scratch. The war resulted in a huge swathe of the population missing out on school. Mary’s Meals is establishing school feeding projects in schools in the Yirol area. In many places school still consists of a few benches under a tree. The challenges are many but the communities we work with are hungry for their children to have the chance to gain an education.
