How we spend your donations
Mary’s Meals has become known as ‘the charity that operates out of a tin shed’ and has low running costs.
We regard ourselves as stewards of all the resources entrusted to us and take this responsibility very seriously. For every £1 you donate, we are committed to spending no more than 6p on fundraising and 1p on governance, leaving 93p to spend on our charitable activities. Key to this is keeping our running costs at a minimum so that as much as possible of your donation reaches those in need.
