Grants & Partnerships Officer

Mary’s Meals is a fast-growing international charity, currently providing 868,746 hungry and impoverished children in 5 continents with a daily school meal.

Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, you will be responsible for engaging and managing the relationship with a wide range of key donors, foundations, trusts, corporate bodies and institutional funders.

You will utilise your considerable creative abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills to provide tailored funding proposals and reports that bring the inspiring message of Mary’s Meals to a wide range of new and existing supporters.

Establishing, developing and nurturing collaborative relationships will be essential in this role and you will have demonstrable planning and organising skills that ensure you can work to challenging deadlines and balance a varied workload.

By contributing to the work of Mary’s Meals, you will become part of a worldwide movement of people who will not accept that any child in this world of plenty should endure a day without a meal.

Financial Accountant

Mary’s Meals is a fast-growing international charity, currently providing 868,746 hungry and impoverished children in 5 continents with a daily school meal.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead a small team in the delivery of high quality financial accounting, reporting and control activities within Mary’s Meals. You will oversee the accounting function for the organisation including treasury management and payroll processes. In addition you will provide support and advice to our Partner Organisations in other countries.

Charged with safeguarding the security, probity and end use of funds, you will prepare, develop and implement financial policies and procedures that support the organisation and facilitate growth of the international organisation.

By contributing to the work of Mary’s Meals, you will become part of a worldwide movement of people who will not accept that any child in this world of plenty should endure a day without a meal.

If you are a qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, have a sound knowledge of UK Charitable sector reporting requirements, and you would like to make a difference to the lives of thousands of children across the world, we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has experience of working in a senior role but who can operate at all levels to get the job done.
