Mary’s Meals celebrates 10 beautiful years

Mary’s Meals is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year – thank you for all your support which makes our work possible!

Over 1,600 people recently joined us in celebrating this wonderful occasion at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, where Mary’s Meals founder Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow announced we are now feeding over 700,000 children every school day!

The event included talks from Magnus and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who is the newly appointed United Nations Special Envoy for Global Education.

There was also musical entertainment from St Angela’s Primary School in Glasgow who performed their song ‘Miles Apart’, a song they wrote about the work of Mary’s Meals.

Professional opera singer Martin Aelred also performed at the event.

Our 10th anniversary celebration event included the UK’s premiere screening of Child 31, which was introduced by Gordon Brown.
