How you will be making a difference
As IT support engineer you will be responsible for the provision of the IT support and services for users across a growing global organisation that works in uniquely challenging environments. No two days are the same and the way we do things is as important as the outcome.
You will thrive in a hands-on technical operations role, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with international stakeholders from across the global MM family, delivering excellent customer/stakeholder experience.
We are looking for an IT support professional who brings experience of working in an enterprise organisation and cloud environments. Who has experience of participating in a team of highly technical engineers and delivering technical projects.
You will have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise your own workload to be able to deliver on time.
What do we need from you?
You will need to have experience in administering user accounts and applications on Office 365 and Azure AD, as well as a working knowledge of Windows technologies, Mobile device management, DNS, Exchange and SharePoint.
Knowledge of networking principles, enterprise antivirus and backup software. Exposure to log management and monitoring tools. An understanding of ITIL and experience with IT service management systems.
Reporting to our IT Infrastructure Lead, you will work as part of a small global infrastructure team providing desktop, network and cloud sysadmin support to our users.
Key activities / skills include:
- Build and deploy desktop, laptop and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts
- Monitor and maintain the global IT infrastructure estate
- Take ownership of and provide regular updates on all support tickets assigned
- Maintain the IT Asset Management register
- Develop, manage and maintain IT processes and standard operating procedures
- Contribute to planned maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
You will be focussed on effectively supporting and administering technologies and process automations that will help facilitate the growth of our movement and allow us to reach the next child waiting for Mary’s Meals.
We employ leading cloud technologies and in this role you will be working with Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Defender (Office, Identity, Endpoint & Cloud App Security), Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Salesforce, GSuite, Cisco Meraki, Samsung Knox, Zoho ManageEngine, PagerDuty, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, StatusPage) and more! Experience with these technologies is highly desirable although training will be provided to the right candidate.
