Mary’s Meals serves nutritious school meals to children living in some of the world’s poorest communities. The promise of a meal attracts these hungry children into the classroom, giving them the energy to learn and hope for a better future.

Due to internal progression, Mary's Meals International is recruiting for an experienced Legal Administrator to join the Legal team. As Legal Administrator, you will play a vital role in enabling the delivery of high-quality legal administration services across the international network. You’ll provide dedicated administrative support to the Legal team, helping ensure systems, documents and communications run smoothly and effectively.

We have a remote-first approach to work and are happy for you to work remotely and flexibly, in a way that best supports your work life balance, we also have an office near Glasgow city centre for those who live nearby and would like to work from here occasionally or on a regular basis.

You will:

  • Manage the legal inbox, calendar and document filing systems.
  • Support contract administration, policy maintenance and governance documentation.
  • Assist with registration processes for legal entities and maintain legal records.
  • Coordinate logistics for legal training sessions and support legal literacy resources.
  • Maintain SharePoint and legal databases, ensure accessibility and version control.
  • Support the development and review of policies and templates across the global network.


Essential skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable work experience in a similar role, ideally in a legal, governance or compliance environment.
  • Strong organisational and documentation management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Proven experience of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international context.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise logically and effectively.
  • Strong personal integrity with a solutions focussed approach and experience of working with sensitive documentation.


With excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, you will be detail orientated and thrive in a fast-paced, varied role. Experience of working in the non-profit sector and a relevant legal qualification would be desirable but not essential.
