Record-breaking numbers take part in our life-changing Christmas dinner.
Thousands of people from all around the world set a place at our virtual Christmas dinner, making this year’s celebrations our biggest and best ever!
A record-breaking number of places were set – including almost 4,000 in the UK. This means that more than 10,000 hungry children will receive the gift of life-changing meals for a whole year.
The promise of a nutritious meal encourages hungry children – who might otherwise skip school to work, beg or scavenge for food – to come to class and gives them energy to concentrate and learn so that they can reach their true potential.
Together, we’re bringing a new year filled with hope to vulnerable children in some of the world’s poorest and most hard to reach places – from conflict zones, refugee settlements and overcrowded urban slums, to remote rural communities.
