Step by Step

What is Step by Step to Feed the Next Child?
Mary’s Meals invites people to put on their walking shoes and join our annual Step by Step to Feed the Next Child walk this summer in Northern Ireland. It’s a great opportunity to get out in the fresh air, meet new people and raise much needed funds for the life-changing work of Mary’s Meals.

When and where does Step by Step take place?
The series of walks run from the end of July until the 15 August.
A total of over 200km will be covered across the various legs of the route which finishes in Knock Shrine, Co. Mayo. Many people prefer to walk or run a leg in their local area so all are welcome even for a mile or two.
There are a number of starting points across the island of Ireland, however if there isn’t a local walk in your area, you could start one with your family or a group of friends.

Why is taking part important?
By taking part in a Step by Step walk you will help us raise awareness of our work. We encourage all participants to fundraise or make a donation to help us feed more hungry children.
Remember 10p provides a meal for a child and £19.15 feed a child for a full school year so a little goes a long way.
